So, yesterday I walked over to the post office to get my mail, and in my hand was a letter that I wanted to “mail” to a box in that very same post office. I walked up to the counter and asked the nice lady if she could just put this into the box in question for me. She looked at the letter and said “oh, I can’t do that, you need a stamp!”
Really? I need a 44 cent stamp to put a letter into a PO Box right there? I don’t blame the nice lady, she is after all just complying with “the system.” I still can’t get my head wrapped around the absurdity of this though, that we have given up our freedom in activity and our freedom of thinking and subjected ourselves to the absurd rules of a system.
