“Progress depends on changing the world to fit us, not the other way around.”
I decided to google that, and it turns out it’s a condensed version from George Bernard Shaw, Man and Superman.
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
Feels like the story of my life (being the unreasonable man) when it comes to software development!
